WebAn ONT is an Optical Network Terminal. This device connects the fibre that has been wired to the outside of your house, to your modem. The ONT is a small white plastic box (180mm x50mm x 120mm) that will be placed on your internal wall. WebThis month CityFibre announced a further £1.5 billion investment, with construction contracts for FTTP in 27 towns and cities and around three million premises. CityFibre says that it is moving ahead with construction plans for more than five million premises in 66 towns and cities, all of which are expected to be underway by summer 2024.
